The complete number of Kyrgyzstan gambling halls is something in a little doubt. As data from this country, out in the very most central area of Central Asia, tends to be difficult to acquire, this may not be all that astonishing. Whether there are two or three authorized casinos is the thing at issue, maybe not in fact the most earth-shattering piece of data that we do not have.
What certainly is credible, as it is of most of the ex-USSR nations, and certainly true of those in Asia, is that there no doubt will be a good many more illegal and backdoor gambling dens. The adjustment to authorized betting did not energize all the aforestated places to come out of the dark and become legitimate. So, the clash regarding the total number of Kyrgyzstan’s gambling dens is a tiny one at best: how many legal ones is the item we’re trying to answer here.

We will also see both the Casino Bishkek and the Xanadu Casino. The two of these offer 26 slots and 11 gaming tables, separated between roulette, 21, and poker. Given the amazing likeness in the square footage and floor plan of these two Kyrgyzstan gambling dens, it may be even more surprising to find that the casinos share an address. This seems most bewildering, so we can perhaps state that the list of Kyrgyzstan’s casinos, at least the accredited ones, is limited to 2 members, one of them having altered their name a short time ago.
The country, in common with almost all of the ex-USSR, has experienced something of a fast conversion to capitalism. The Wild East, you could say, to refer to the chaotic circumstances of the Wild West a century and a half back.
Kyrgyzstan’s casinos are almost certainly worth going to, therefore, as a piece of anthropological research, to see chips being bet as a form of collective one-upmanship, the conspicuous consumption that Thorstein Veblen talked about in 19th century America.
